A day in my life...
- My "Day in the Life" analysis is an accurate representation of how I spend my time because I am usually at school or doing homework.
- Judging from my recorded twenty-four hours, I value the small amount of time I have to do things that make me happy. These activities include reading and listening to music. This is suggested by the random breaks in my schedule.
- Based on my schedule, I don't value social relationships as much as my academics because I am always focused on completing my work.
- Thoreau would most likely disagree with how I spend my time because I am not rebellious or non-conforming.
Glorious
Macklemore Ft. Skylar Grey
This song makes me feel happy because it creates a sense of invincibility. The tone of the singers and their lyrics inspire me to do things I am afraid of.
Happier
Ed Sheeran
I listen to Ed Sheeran's song, "Happier", when I am feeling down because the lyrics are calming. The emotions in Sheeran's voice make me feel less isolated.
I am what i am
Jonas Brothers
"I Am What I Am" would probably be enjoyed by Emerson and Thoreau because it represents transcendentalism through the message of staying true to yourself and being who you are. This idea would greatly align with their values.
This picture of New York City makes me happy because it represents my dream of living in a big city with a lot of energy. I love the idea of there being a place where millions of people live together and have similar lifestyles, yet every one of them is unique.
I believe Emerson and Thoreau would enjoy this picture because it depicts the beauty of nature. This is significant because both of them believe that God can be found through nature.
“Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.”
― Dr. Seuss
This quote is meaningful to my life because I have moved around a lot, forcing me to leave friends behind.
